1. New T-Cell polarimeter tubes
Schmidt+Haensch offers now new Peltier Polarimeter tubes (T-Cell) with automatic temperature regulation by electronic system.
The optical activity of the sample, measured in angular degree, is a physical property of the dissolved optically active substance. The measured rotation is directly influenced by the concentration and the specific optical rotation of the active substance as well as the temperature, the tube length and the wavelength of the used light. The temperature dependency is specific for each substance.
The new T-Cells have the capability to heat and cool samples without the need for an external water circulator. They are controlled by a separate, user friendly electronic unit which has own power supply. Temperatures are set on the electronic unit via 4 buttons and the set as well as the actual temperature of the sample it self is displayed on the 2 line illuminated LCD screen.
Even through the reference temperature for polarimetric measurement is 20°C or 25°C Schmidt+Haensch?s T-Cells have the capability to heat and cool samples in a wider range from 18°C till 60°C in shortest time for special applications. This is allowing even the analysis of temperature dependencies for individual substances.

2. Triple Quartz Control Plates (TQCP)
Triple Quartz Control Plates (TQPC) consisting of one left and one right turning quartz plate, mounted in separate housing. They can be used together for a combined rotation. That means that one plate is on the left and one on the right side of the holder. If removed one plate from the holder, plates can be used separately. Each QCP, manufactured by Schmidt+Haensch, comes with a factory certificate showing calibration at 7 different wavelengths and traceability to PTB. Five models are available.

3. Digital Polarimeter Unipol L 2000
The new polarimeter Unipol L 2000 has in comparison to the basic model Unipol L a higher precision and resolution and is equipped with two wavelength (405 and 589 nm). It?s mainly designed for pharmaceutical and chemical applications. The great software package allows a GLP/GMP conform documentation. The polarimeter is ready for CRF21 part 11, an appropriate software "Aquisys 2008" is optionally available. In addition to normal polarimeter tubes, the Unipol L 2000 can be used for micro cells as well by automatic adjustment of the beam diameter.

4. Automatic high precision polarimeter Polartronic H532
From the wide range of digital polarimeters, designed and produced by Schmidt+Haensch, the Polartronic H532 is the top-of-the-line model. The polarimeter convinces among other things through its high resolution and its precision, which is constant over the whole measuring range.
